Engineering in Action
Proven Delivery Across Energy and Industry

Every project begins with a different operating need, schedule constraint or technical challenge. These stories show how PEM combines engineering judgment, coordinated execution and field experience to turn complex requirements into practical results.

15-Day Site Delivery Enabled by Off-Site Prefabrication

By shifting spool fabrication and assembly from the project site to PEM's controlled workshop environment in Tehran, the team reduced site work in Assaluyeh and completed the planned on-site scope in 15 days.

How Off-Site Prefabrication Enabled 15-Day Site Completion in Assaluyeh

A petrochemical project in Assaluyeh required a tightly coordinated site installation within a limited execution window. PEM used integrated engineering, 3D modeling and controlled workshop fabrication to move a significant share of the work away from the operating site.

The Challenge

On-site fabrication can be affected by limited workspace, simultaneous contractor activity, logistics, weather and the availability of specialized tools. The project required a delivery plan that reduced field congestion without compromising dimensional accuracy or installation readiness.

PEM's Response

PEM developed isometric drawings from the coordinated 3D model, then prefabricated, pre-assembled and pre-welded the required spools in Tehran. Components were inspected before shipment and transported to Assaluyeh in installation-ready packages. Site activities focused on final positioning, connection and completion.

The Outcome

According to PEM's project records, the planned site work was completed in 15 days. The approach reduced the volume of field fabrication, improved schedule certainty and demonstrated the value of integrating engineering, workshop fabrication, logistics and installation planning.

Commissioning at Scale Across Power, Petrochemical and Industrial Assets

PEM's commissioning and operations teams have supported a broad portfolio of power, petrochemical and industrial facilities, combining system completion, start-up, performance testing and lifecycle support.

From System Completion to Reliable Operation

Commissioning connects project delivery with safe, reliable production. PEM's commissioning, operation and maintenance teams support the transition from mechanical completion through testing, start-up, performance validation and handover.

Delivery Approach

The team organizes work by system and subsystem, coordinates completion records and punch lists, prepares equipment for energization or process introduction, and supports functional and performance testing. After start-up, PEM can continue with operation, preventive maintenance, emergency repair, shutdown support and overhaul programs.

Project Experience Across Iraq, Syria and Oman

PEM's international project list includes power, refinery, oil and gas, food and paper industry facilities across Iraq, Syria, Oman and the UAE.

PEM has supported projects beyond Iran, including Rumaila Power Plant and Erbil Petrol Refinery in Iraq, Tishreen and Jandar power plants in Syria, and Keryas Paper in Oman. This experience reflects the group's ability to coordinate technical delivery, procurement and site support across different operating environments.
